About College

Vani pre-university college is the brainchild of Belthangady Taluk Gowdara yanne okkaligara seva sangh. (R) Belthangady. It was in 1990 the sangha established vani English medium school. It grew as PU College in 2004. Since the beginning vani educational institution has become centre of educational excellence in the vicinity of belthangady town.

The college is located in Halekote on the national high way between Mangalore and kadur in the background of scenic beauty of Western Ghats. Vani educational institution was established with a view to provide quality education blended with ethical and social values. The institution intends to bring education to the rural mass of belthangady taluk. Institution has distinguished record of academic excellence in SSLC and PUC examination with 100% result in each year. Nearly 2000 students study at campus.

Our Emblem

A man becomes a scholar only when he acquires complete knowledge which is imparted by a Guru who is equal to god. The aim of this institution also is to encourage and mould the personality of students as to become a scholar.

Our emblem has a base with an opened book in the centre which means that education is open to all. It has a background of sun arising behind a mountain which means that there is always a hope for bright future. There is also God Saraswathi in between two mountains always showering her blessing on us.

Our motto reflects the target of our emblem which stabilises the personality of our institution. Our motto is “Jnanave Belaku” which means –“knowledge itself is light”.

Imparting knowledge which is equalised to light and moulding the personality of students is symbolised by our emblem.

Our students are inspired from this institution which strives to bring his/her talent to light.
